By being kind to yourself, by respecting yourself, you won’t have the need to prove to others how ‘good’ you are by demeaning yourself in any way. True satisfaction of doing good comes from a conscious choice to do good, not from being coerced into it.
There are simple tests that can help you understand if any action that you are doing is good or not.
Will the action in anyway harm the atmosphere or the ecosystem?
Will the action bring pain to any other human being or any other living being?
These are the two questions which will give you a clear idea as to what you are doing.Being Human if your action conform to the human nature and are in alignment with your existence and coexistence of all others then you are right.
There is this education system of studying coexistence and I am now in the process of reading and understanding the same.
